No Fewer Than 98 Palestinians Have Died in Israeli Custody Since October 2023, Israeli Data Indicates
Based on data released by Israel, at least 98 detainees from Palestine have died while in custody starting from October 2023. A human rights group located in Israel has indicated that the actual figure is probably substantially higher, as a result of many of disappeared people originating in Gaza.

A detainee held with the deceased reported that he was brought to the yard by guards shortly before his passing, visibly injured and unclothed from the hips downward. His corpse has not been repatriated to Gaza.
Other prisoners who perished in detention in Israel remain anonymous. Correctional authorities and armed services gave researchers with the total of fatalities in confinement, and limited further data including the facility where they lost their lives, but without the prisoners’ names.
Recognition Difficulties
